Molecular Spectroscopy II involves electromagnetic, nuclear magentic resonance and electron spin resonance spectroscopic techniques.
Molecular Spectroscopy is the measurement of interactions between electromagnetic waves and matter. Spectroscopy deals with the study of absorption and emission of light and other radiation by matter. Molecular Spectroscopy I  involves Rotational, Vibrational and Raman techniques.

The course is intended to sensitivise students to the various ways in which literature written in English, in the Indian sub-continent serves as a platform for forming, consolidating, critiquing and re-working the issue of national ‗identity‘ at various levels.

Pearls from the Deep is the general English paper for the first semester B.A/ BSc. students. This paper includes various literary works which will help the students to develop an interest in literature. It comprises of a novella, one act plays, short stories and poems.

Introduces the students to writings by Indian authors spanning across centuries. 

The course seeks to introduce the student to the major signposts in the historical evolution of literary studies from its inception to the current postcolonial realm

The course seeks to introduce students to the major developments in literary criticism from the ancient times to the modern times,  aims to initiate students to the realm of literary theory and major theoretical schools and enables them to analyze poetical pieces critically. 

The course seeks to introduce the student to select theatre texts that form the canon of English drama


This is a general English paper for first semester B.A, BSc., B.Com students which is designed to enhance the usage of everyday English language among the students. Five modules included in the text will be helpful for the students in improving their formal and conversational English language skills.
