This paper offers a study of different essays which provides awareness about various theoretical outlooks that evolved during different periods. This paper helps learners to trace the evolution of various theoretical aspects that emerged at various points of history.
The paper introduces postmodernism as a theory and includes well known post-modernist literatures from fiction, drama, and poetry. The historical and literary background of post-modernism is discussed in the theoretical essays prescribed which serves as an introduction to the study of post-modernist literature. Literatures chosen serves to establish the link between cultural studies and post-modernism.
